seeing the child's face break into a smile made the panther smile involuntarily himself. arfur accepted the offer with a quick nod, then asking again for verbal confirmation like he didn't believe jormungand. "yes arfur, you can stay with me." he said softly, tail curling around his paws and the child's simultaneously. he could feel his sister next to him - see her approving smile. and it was true that he had grown lonelier ever since asmodeus moved out. sure they still walked past each other, belonging in the same group, but it was different somehow.
