If you want to get out alive -

he was hot and this sun beating down on him did little to help. he hated being cold blooded. as such, he moved swiftly to the waters edge. yet, he was not to keen on swimming with those fanged fish. what were they called? sharks, wasn't it? they were a pest, even for him. yet, the heat gave little option if he wanted to cool off and patrol the shore.

so, he slipped into the lapping waves. letting the water roll over his scales and feeling much better almost instantly. he swam out a little ways and moved in a slow circle. tail swishing the water behind him.
