he could only dip his head in acquiescence to the words that the other leader offered, following his gaze to the docks. offering his own lopsided smile, "Things can only get better now.", he would scratch into place upon the pitiful piece of bark. he couldn't help but notice the exhaustion on Sherbet's face and grimaced in sympathy. he could feel the claws of a cold beginning to sink into his body, and it wasn't a feeling he wished for anyone else to suffer from. so were the woes of the one in charge.

it pleased him to know that a typhooner would be sent to tanglewood with news, it meant one less journey far from home in his deteriorating condition. he understood the need for supplies, hell even tanglewood was struggling in that aspect but appearances had to be kept up and alliances friendly ... for the time being. there was an itch of discordance deep in his mind, like a bitter chill brought upon by the winter winds soon to arrive. exhaling softly he nodded in agreement to the captain's words before a familiar face and voice arrived to the scene. green-gray eyes observed alexandre with a silent acknowledgement to the other feline. offering a dip of his head in their direction, he would grin despite himself, irritation at the throb of pain from the scar cutting over his muzzle briefly distracting him. what a cheap flirt that was. amusement trickled through somewhere in him, returning a comment with more scratching, "better sooner than later. we have some rats to hunt that took to our waters." he would silently chuckle as he wrote, an expression of coolness on his face. he wanted to explore the new waterways exposed in the storm's rage, and perhaps further. his gaze followed loki's movements with a soft expression of amusement, it was always interesting to observe the awe of children to what could only be described as non-natural.
