Although he was but a mere child, Arfur had begun to learn about a lot of things. The creature was learning his likes and dislikes, along with learning about his environment. People here harbored a lot of woes the young pup didn’t understand yet. For instance, he didn’t understand the anger he kept seeing displayed. He also didn’t understand all the corpses and bones he found sprawled around everywhere. In reality, Arfur was still learning a lot.

Right now, he was learning about bugs.

Even though bugs freaked him out, the purple lab pup couldn’t help but hold great interest to them. As such, he felt that he needed someone to share his interests with. Who better to show his newfound interest to than the leader? Perhaps bringing them a bug meant he could become their friend?

He had taken his time choosing the shiniest blue beetle he could find, taking it gently into his maw and maneuvering himself through the terrain. Finally, he had arrived.

“Ollala! It’s Arfur!”

Olalla had been fiddling with a few branches when Arthur padded up to him. It was odd, having a small child walk up to him like he wasn't leading a group of mass murderers. He looked down at the pale purple kid, a wide smile on the child's face. "Hello Arthur," Olalla said as he set down the branches and sat down onto his haunches.

The kid was barely a year old and he was already causing trouble around the Plaza, running under everyone's paws. Well, those were kids. He wondered how long it would take to find Arthur a welcoming mother figure, if his real mother did not come looking for him; as he hoped. "What have you got there, boy?" Olalla knelt down a bit to get a closer look at the child, with the great size difference and all.

A ginger and soft smile permeated the young pup’s lips as his leader acknowledged him. It had been hard for Arfur to gather their attention, this much was true. After all, Ollala appeared to be a rather busy individual. Leading a band of rogues was difficult, and although Arfur couldn’t say he knew so for certain, he assumed that he was correct. After all, people were tense and wished to do harm unto others. It was a principle the young child hadn’t yet grasped, but he supposed that he’d figure it out eventually. With the environment the young member was in, he had no choice.

As the large beast moved onto his level, Arfur’s skeletal tail lifted and began to wag furiously. Then, he offered the beetle to Ollala by gently placing it upon his nose, should he allow him to do so. If successful, the child would admire his handiwork rather proudly, a soft giggle passing his lips.

“You always seem so busy! I brought you a buddy so you are not lonely!” he proclaimed.
