the land of the frozen north had a horrible reputation in the lands southern of their borders, which led the regent to wonder why so many were appearing on their borders as of late. he didn't complain, he was happy to see all of these new faces, but it had him wondering in earnest. were there just this many brave souls? were they all wanderers? shaking himself out, he would plod on, alerted by a ranger to a stranger on their borders. coming into view, he would glance at the woman curiously, the dark pelted hellhound emerging from the snowy landscape with a friendly smile, "well hello there, miss. are you lost or are you here on our borders for a reason?", he asked, coming to stop nearby with a low swing of his tail, "my name is jeris, you're at the border of the frostguard.", he would inform her kindly.
