scuttling of small feet on the earth. the smell of crushed insects and sand on the wind. the male would soon appear before any prying eyes. scrambling onto the rock he had been aimed at, the male would settle in. the sun beating down on his scaled form. he was a little cold, but that would be fixed with the sun. he had no idea where he was, but he had to admit, it was lovely.

tilting his head this way and that, he kept a watchful eye out for dangers. birds, and other creatures, often wanted to eat him. so, he was warry in all travel. he would defend himself, if the need came, but he often refrained if he could. he would rather talk it out. he liked making friends, so he simply hoped no one would try him for a snack. then again, he doubted anyone was here.

he had yet to see a single soul, after all.

Prowling around, Nord was on the hunt since he had hunting duties for the week. His brown body melding well into the environment, as if he was made of pure rock when he caught sight of a large elk. His large head lowered, and he narrowed his eyes, his talons extending as the prey creature before him grew antsy. With a large beat of his wings to propel him for faster, talons ready, Nord fell the elk with a clean chomp to it's neck.

Large prey in his mouth, his senses picked up another set of steps. Carefully laying the elk down, the Baron carefully stalked towards the smaller set of step, only to come nose to nose with a bearded dragon. Golden eyes narrowing, he rumbled, "Welcome. To what do we owe the honor?"

his head became still as he awaited a response. eyes blinking as he took in the scents all around him. eyes scanning for trouble. he always did.
