I'VE LOST ALL FORM OF UNITY-

The storm had drenched her nest and left it a mess. Usually she wouldn't care, and would leave the nest to dry on it's own. But under her current circumstances she wanted a place to lay and rest and think. So she started to claw out a hole at the base of her nest, using it to drain the water that had pooled inside. While that happened, she started to prop up more mud and sticks around the outside, trying to fortify the nest even more.

After it was drained and fortified she grabbed dry leaves and layered them in the nest, then covered the hole she made and stepped into the nest. It seemed... empty. Even after she curled up, she found herself wanting something with her. Something small, delicate, round. Something that she could protect until they were ready...

Eggs.

The thought made her snort and hastily sit up. Why now? Why now did she want a clutch? What the hell had gotten into her?? It confused and, frankly, frightened the dragoness. Even when Renlys was around she hardly considered having a clutch, let alone with him. But now she was considering the possibility. And it was a stupid consideration. She snarled and pawed at her muzzle, reprimanding herself. It was a stupid thought. It would leave eventually.
