something was wrong and she knew it. for days she felt sick and often threw up. perhaps she should seek medical advice, but she was far to stubborn. she pushed threw and kept it hidden from the rest of her home. keeping it secret and keeping to herself. she was not one to give herself away when weak. she hated when others witnessed her in such a way. she was a monster and the queen. she was never going to be weak.

she would die strong and that was that. yet, today she was awoken by a wave of nausea that made her roll from her slumber. the sun was setting and she rose fast. leaping out of the bed, not noting if her husband was sleeping there or not. she would run. run swiftly down the halls until she was outside. not making it to far before she threw up her meal from the day prior. the blood soaking the earth at her paws and she shook her head.

stumbling a bit away to collapse and sigh. the queen was ill, or was it something else?
