Meteor's eagerness for a fight was unsurprising. If she knew anything about the Descendants, it was that some of them were bumbling, bloodthirsty buffoons. Still, if she was to stay here, she would have to get used to the 'dumb and muscly' trope; nothing she'd never dealt with before.
"Unfortunately for you, lovely, I know quite where I am." she hummed, pit-pattering from one hoof to another, all three eyes sizing up the lion. "Or maybe it's fortunate for you, you'll never know." she snickered, cocking a sly half-grin. "I'd like to speak to whomsoever can grant me permission to join. Be that you or someone of more... Caliber."
Maybe she had a death wish. Or maybe, if you were looking for a more simple answer, she simply was not afraid of the beast. She may look small to him, but she was neither weak nor stupid, and frankly had more experience in combat than most would think upon first glance.
