RAMONA LINGRÉ
✯ — THE GROWN UPS TAUGHT ME TO WATCH AND LEARN
space
the foreign scents were the first to cross ramona's nose, waking the halfbreed from her easy slumber, then both aine and her eldest sibling's scents. half asleep still, the older of the the girls stumbled from her den, bai shi's roar rattling her entire body. that only could mean that they were in their dragon form, which meant that they couldn't use their sword.
which also meant that aine was in danger. oh dear, her father would ream her out for this one. clumsily sprinting towards the dragon's den, she slipped inside, barely freeing the heavy sword from it's ornate and beautiful sheath, young teeth clasping around the hilt. oh dear, she certainly regretted skipping arms class now. how did she even use the antique item? she could only hope for the best at this point.
taking her sleepy shaking legs with her, the gangly canine dragged the weapon behind her, gait awkward as she struggled to better get a grip on it. ears pulled backward and giving her best war cry, she growled as she tugged the blade further towards the front.
she had to protect aine and the camp until the others arrived to help out, right? yeah. she just had to hold on and make her mama and her adopted father proud. maybe her papa would smile upon her from wherever he rested in the afterlife? maybe her brother would too? maybe her papa's murderer was amongst the attackets, maybe she could get revenge?
