" biting the burning bullet to break bones "

"I'm no traitor when I know I say the right words, you are blinded by the pain that you alone feel." they growled gently, watching him with nary a hair raising on their pelt. exhaling, they forced themselves to remain calm, anger nestling in their breast.
"go ahead. try to chase me off, kydobi. it won't work." they rumbled, ears flicking forward and backward, chuckling as they forced themselves to not react. exhaling softly, they flicked their tail, looking him in the eyes with a calm expression. they did not let him see any sort of hesitance or emotion upon their face. "run me off, kydobi, and see how well things go with ramona turned against you and jervis sure to make an example out of someone." they invited him, standing their ground with tail still and blue eyes once warm filled with a cold chill. they didnt understand his antics, but things were changing and this was just one of the many things that would be lost to them
sorry it's short, work and moving are kicking my rear //
