redbone- open

It burned, like hot fire. The icy cold, did, at least, causing Piers' eyes open. His gaze turned towards the empty white that he drifted him, and slowly pushed to his paws. His body was younger, without the metal again, just before Aurum had attacked Kydobi. He walked forward slowly, his breath caught in his throat. Where was he, again? Why did his body itch, and burn, but yet he wasn't screaming in pain or jumping about? A soft exhale came from him, and he continued to walk, in whatever direction he had picked.

Was he even alive?

---

In the, well, real world, Piers' new body was barely breathing. Deep in the desert, his body was slowly overheating. Carrion birds slowly began to gather, circling over head. Every now and again, his paw would twitch, eye squint a bit more in it's closed state. His body was without metal, this time, approximately the same age as before. Born on his head, a set of horns poking out from his noggin. On his back, a mane was starting to sprout, solely on the backside of his neck. He was still Kydobi's son, still his mother's child, but yet, he was barely breathing in the desert.

And it was singing his fur, laying there.
