If Michael had happened upon Vandal when her body was still rebuilding itself, he probably would've been horrified. The reaver had never been a great fan of the zombie stories that Trevor enjoyed for their sheer grotesque nature, and he would've been far too reminded of those when Vandal's body slowly pieced itself back together. Thankfully, he had only ended up coming across the other crewmate once she was fully alive, although definitely worse for wear. She was far from the first exhausted and starving person that the thief had come across during his walks along the beach, and he doubted she would be the last. Although, unfortunately for the both of them, Michael had no idea of who Vandal was, or how she had been around The Typhoon for much longer than he had. Roxie didn't speak much about her siblings, outside of the occasional anecdote about Pinscher, so the fugitive didn't know that he was technically related to Vandal. Even though he had never actually tried to claim himself as anything besides Rox's brother, and as the uncle of her children. He didn't claim the Roux name – not because he was ashamed of the family, he just didn't want to insert himself into a family that didn't want him.

Upon coming across Vandal's exhausted and drenched form, Michael found himself frowning slightly, unsure of whether or not the other canine was actually alive or not. The pregnant coyote hesitated before stretching a dark paw out to poke gently at Vandal's side. He was fairly sure that he could feel a heartbeat beneath the thoroughly sea soaked fur, so it wasn't long before he barked, "Hey, uh... I'm really hoping that you're alive, so could you wake up for me?" Giving another rough nudge of his muzzle to Vandal's shoulder, the coyote muttered with a soft grunt, "I wasn't strong enough to carry somebody like you before I was pregnant, so I can't get you to the soothsayer temple..." He would've gone and grabbed her some food, but that was pretty far away at this point, and Michael didn't want to go through a bunch of effort for someone who was potentially dead. Turning his head back towards the main area, the male called out for help, "Hey, can I get some help over here? We might need some food, cause somebody washed up on the shore." He desperately hoped this wasn't some sort of prank, and he wasn't about to get punked by Vandal leaping up at him, or something along those lines. He wouldn't have put such a thing past Ry, as a sort of sick revenge for his temporary leaving.
