The ocelot stepped into the tavern, her forked tail-tips twitching as she adjusted to the chatter. Large social groups often overwhelmed her from the noise alone, but the tavern was… emptier than she expected. So her heart seized, anyway, even as her ears, relieved from the lack of assault, perked.
“As always, I will stick with the necro mambas.” Rosemary dipped her head slightly to her nephew as she settled into a chair. She had a sudden pang of grief for the bartenders the Typhoon’d had over the years.
Her right pair of eyes shifted to Loki. Sherbert’s daughter definitely inherited his sunny personality, though Loki reminded her more of some of Pincher’s daughters as well. “You mean the necro mambas and blackjack rats?” Rosemary clarified with a slight head tilt. “I suppose that means I’ll be teaching you medicine.”
