TONIGHT, WE ARE YOUNG

tiny paws scattered moss from a nest as the kit leaps out. landing with a little thunk and looking around with bright eyes. tail curling up as bright eyes scanned for another kit to play with. then, she ran towards another nest and skid to a stop on the edge.

"wanna play?" she asked as she looked in the nest at any kits inside it. ears perking slightly as she waited for an answer.

"speech"

"this is for waking me up!" the long-haired kitten would playfully hiss before bringing a paw up to lightly tap them on the nose. a large grin laced their soft features before milk-kit rolled out of the nest, waiting for their other kits next move.

Plumkit poked her head up soon after her sibling's exit from the nest, a feather stuck to her head before she blew it away with a grin. "Wait for me!" she chirped as she clumsily waded out of the soft nest to join her sibling and the unfamiliar kit. "I'm Plumkit!" she introduced herself cheerfully before pouncing on her sibling with a tiny war cry.
