SOLDIER KEEP ON MARCHIN' ON | joiners

SELF-ENTITLED

At the father’s agreement, Jervis seemed satisfied. They would need to discuss further terms later on their own time and figure out what would be the best option for their stay. After all, no one goes in or out without his permission. For now the fox would hold his tongue and only listen to their introduction, awaiting further questions. ”I am your ardent and leader, Jervis,” he would casually point out. There wasn’t much else to say otherwise.

The cross fox hummed softly, leaning back casually as the events unfolded around him.  They were indeed who he had thought.  He sent [member=265]Keona.[/member] the briefest mental tug to let her know he had some information.  Almost bored looking, he kept his outward focus on Gael and Aine, storing the child's name to memory.  Alaire and Salome must be dead then.  He figured as much.  Unfortunate, but not surprising.

"Call me Embry," he offered the two softly, dipping his head formally.

Ardent must mean 'king' or 'leader'.  The vulpine assumed as much, dipping his head.  Kydobi.  A unique name.  Jervis.  Embry.  Easy enough, and he found himself holding the latter's eyes for a split second longer, thoughtfully.

"Pleasure to meet all of you."

✯ — THE GROWN UPS TAUGHT ME TO WATCH AND LEARN

a flurry of limbs rustled not far from the group, a girl rushing out, looking hassled and annoyed, but mostly worried. ah.

pushing her paws into the dirt to stop from careening into the group, she gasped out a soft, "am I late? I'm late, darnit.", she had heard a fatherly voice while out doing her own thing and had come racing to see if maybe, the gent had a child with him, and that he did. sending a shy smile to aine she moved to stand behind kydobi, dipping her head in hasty greeting, the wolf half-breed excited to see another youth. oh how she hoped that they could get along! with a mumble she bowed and introduced herself, "I-I'm ram. a pleasure to see new faces and new names.", she would have to ask their names later to save some face for her tardy arrival.
