It never sees us - Shapeshifting Failure(?)

Kold let out a deep, angered huff. Her green cloak lay over her like a blanket. At this point, it essentially was. And she couldn't find her way out. Her wings flapped, but she just couldn't lift the cloth enough to see an exit. Her paws, small as they were now, kneaded the jungle grass under her.

"Come on... FucKING COME ON!" She yowled - not barked, but yowled, from underneath the cloak. She couldn't understand the entire situation. She had just fallen asleep under a jungle tree for the morning, and then moment she woke up she felt smaller. It angered her.

"Oi! Tagon, you fuckin vulture, help me, please! I'll give you bones if you help!" She yelled, floundering around on her new small legs. Obviously, anyone could help her, but she didn't know who else to yell for but her companion.

The marauder yowled and yelled incoherently out of anger, trying to get someone's attention.

If it wasn't for Kold's loud yelling and screeching, Hydrostatic probably wouldn't have even recognized her. He heard the screeches from afar, only being able to pick up her specific tone of voice when he got a bit closer. But usually Kold wasn't... so small. Hydrostatic wasn't any stranger to shapeshifting or possession though, considering his mother was quite the expert at it. Coming closer and trying to avoid being hit, Hydro tried to pull the blanket off of Kold.[glow=white,1,400] ━ ✧*:･ﾟ[/glow]

Kold felt the cloak tug away, and she sorta rolled with it for a moment before she was finally free. The body she had shifted in Was a feline with white fur and a black stripe running down from the top of her forehead to her tails tip, the fur itself thin and wiry. Around her muzzle and eyes there was reduced fur, almost so that her muzzle was bare. Her wings had thin, wiry white feathers and her eyes were a sharp silver. All in all, a glorified rat of a cat.

"Oh Thank god, hydrostatic you're a saivor." She heaved a sigh, finally looking at her paws, the left front paw being completely black. Rolling her scarred right shoulder, she hissed in anger. "Why must I be short." She sounded annoyed if anything, and sat back on her haunches.

Honestly, she felt like a rat.

It was... definitely weird to see Kold a bit smaller than him. Not by much, considering he was only a four-month old jaguar, but he still had a lot of growing to do. "... You look like an oversized rat." The cub responded with a laugh, almost trying to hide it.[glow=white,1,400] ━ ✧*:･ﾟ[/glow]

The sound of Kold's angry voice brought the vulpine trotting over, hazel gaze blinking as he watched Hydrostatic help the Marauder out from under her cloak.  While he had seen the girl undergo shapeshifting changes in the past, this form was the smallest he had seen her take -- brow creasing in concern as he joined the duo.

"Are you alright, Kold?"  She does sort of look like a rat, he would agree.  Despite the fact he kept such to himself, the thought did glint faintly in his eyes.

Kold looked like she had been shot. She looked at Hydro like he was the one who shot her. Words couldn't piece themselves together and she floundered for a moment. "Well I... I feel like one." She turned to face Gael. You could never really tell what the Faerie was thinking, huh. She pouted and looked at herself again. "Angry, but I'm okay, I think."

Good god, could he not get any fucking peace and quiet? Like Kold, Dante had been relaxing in the jungle, albeit he had no idea that Kold had decided to do the same nearby. He wasn't that close to her but he was close enough to hear Hydrostatic's voice and definitely close enough to hear Kold's screeching. Growling to himself, Dante got up and tried to follow the scent of Hydro and Gael, letting out a snarl as he came close, "Can't a dude get some fucking re-" He finally noticed the half-naked cat in front of the two, evidently Kold if her voice was anything to go by.

"Oh shit!" Dante was trying to hold back laughter now, a huge grin on his face as he stared down at Kold. "You're a fuckin' rat!" Okay, maybe not literally. But she sure as hell looked like one.[glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:･ﾟ[/glow]

Today was a particularly hot day however, so the kitsune had made her way into the jungle, just having entered into it when she heard the yowling coming from Kold and a weird smirk came onto Sweeney's face. She was short, like an overgrown rat, and  Sweeney would have said so herself if it hadn't been for everyone else saying so. "I've never seen anyone shift into a body that looked sick before." She would comment, head tilting to the side as she did so. "You feeling okay Kold? You don't look well... at all." Little did the vulpine know that this was simply a specific breed of cat and that was what they were meant to look like.
